Frequently asked questions
Can InboxUnion change or send my mail?
No. InboxUnion requests read-only Gmail access. It cannot send, edit, archive, label, or delete messages.
Which accounts can I connect?
You may connect Google accounts that you own or are expressly authorized to access. Each account is authorized separately on Google's OAuth screen.
Why has a new message not appeared yet?
Check that the application's synchronization process and Pub/Sub subscriber are running, then confirm the account's Gmail watch is active. A manual synchronization can be used when push notifications were temporarily unavailable.
Does InboxUnion download attachments?
Normal synchronization records attachment names, media types, and sizes, but does not download attachment bodies.
How do I remove an account?
Follow the Data Deletion Instructions to remove locally stored data and revoke future Google access.
